Annieo Klaas

Annieo Klaas grew up in Dakar, Senegal, and is based in Birmingham, Alabama, where she works as both a painter and nuclear pharmacist. Her work has been exhibited at SPRING/BREAK and Future Fair in New York, Field Projects, the Mobile Museum of Art, and Alabama Contemporary Art Center, among others. She received a grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts in support of her time at Mudhouse Residency in Crete, Greece, and her work has been featured in New American Paintings and Booooooom’s Tomorrow’s Talent.
